WELCOME TO THE
SCHOOL OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT!
The School of Human Resource Management , XIM University is one of the country’s premier school for pursuing an MBA in Human Resource Management with its foundations laid in the legacy of excellence in HR education at erstwhile XIMB.
Rooted in the Jesuit principle of cura personalis—care for the whole person by focusing on holistic development. Our pedagogy is deeply experiential , integrating case-based learning, live projects, simulations, field immersions, and outbound learning programme that connect classroom learning with real-world organisational contexts.
Our academic strength is drawn from our faculty who combine experience from industry with academia and are drawn from the domains of Organisational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, and Labour Laws apart from other areas of management.
Dr. Mousumi Padhi
Dean, School of Human Resource Management
This interdisciplinary expertise enables students to develop a holistic understanding grounded in both theory and lived practice. In courses led by internal faculty, learning is further enriched through curated sessions with industry practitioners, typically involving two interactive engagements per course. These sessions bring in contemporary industry insights.
A defining strength of the school is its deep engagement with industry professionals. Practitioners, thought leaders, and HR experts regularly contribute to teaching, mentoring, curriculum design, and strategic direction through our academic advisory and alumni ecosystem. This continuous interface ensures that learning remains relevant, and future focused. The sustained industry interface also builds strong visibility and trust among recruiters, who actively participate in teaching, mentoring, and curriculum design.
Guided by a continuously updated and industry-aligned curriculum, the school prepares students to lead in complex environments where people, technology, and organisations intersect.
Our doctoral (PhD) programme, offered in both full-time and part-time modes, is also supported by a strong research environment.
Guided by Jesuit values of compassion, inclusion and ethical integrity, we prepare high touch HR professionals who can thrive in a high-tech world—leaders who shape workplaces with both competence and care.
You are warmly invited to visit us, experience our learning environment firsthand, and spend time on campus to understand the spirit and values that define the School of Human Resource Management …
