Introduction and Welcome: The DEI Certification Workshop with Axis Bank, 2024 was successfully conducted by XIMAHR – The HR Association of XIM University. It was organised at International Centre-351, where all the students who had registered for the workshop gathered.
Outcomes:
- Learned the importance of embracing one’s authentic self rather than conforming to traditional expectations through the personal journey of Mr. Harish.
- Learned about the gaps in DEI practices and the importance of formulating inclusive policies as an HR manager to foster an inclusive culture, address biases, and implement DEI initiatives effectively in the workplace.
- Learned the importance of assessing policies from different perspectives—the HR lens, employee lens, and state lens—to ensure comprehensive and equitable solutions.
- Using the Humanness vs. Courage graph, identified different behavioural approaches and learned that ideal DEI leaders should strive to be “Partners”—those who show high courage and high humanness.
